The estimated cost for the improvements is $74,459.00.  Amortized over 10 years, this would equal an annual assessment of approximately $930.74, per parcel, per year, not including any financing and interest costs

Fiscal Note:
With approval budget amendment and resolution for unanticipated revenue there will be $254,700 available in the MSTU Fund in account 008.65.6500.549.34.00 with the account description of contracts.


Per the terms of the Interlocal Agreement, the MTPO agrees to fund the preparation of the Alachua Countywide Bicycle-Pedestrian Master Plan in the amount of $254,700.00. Upon the execution of the contract with the Consultant, the County shall invoice the MTPO for any amount due at the time of execution. The County shall invoice the MTPO for any subsequent amounts due to the Consultant after the execution of the contract, up to $254,700.00. The MTPO agrees to make payment to the County within 30 calendar days of receipt of the invoice from the County.

Part One: The Residential Treatment Counselor – Clinical Lead will result in the current incumbent hourly rate change from $23.1297 to $26.8719 and the Residential Treatment Counselor – Operations Lead will result in the current incumbent hourly rate change from $24.3235 to $26.8719. Part Two: The (4) classifications are Administrative Coordinator, Contract & Project Coordinator, Crisis Center Coordinator and Program Coordinator. Employees in these classifications will be eligible for overtime effective July 1, 2024. Part Three: Effective July 1, 2024, CareerSource classifications will be removed due to the Interlocal Agreement, CareerSource will no longer report to Alachua County Board of County Commissioners.

The FY24 Information Services Budget has $29,000 in the Tech Investment account 001.16.1620.519.46.00 to cover this increase.

This contract is to be paid from the Safe Street/Roads for All Grant Fund with the base services of $262,206.85 in account 240.79.7910.541.31.00 with the description of professional services. There is an additional $24,119.65 in optional services in the contract but this is contingent upon other grant funds becoming available.

Project is funded in 5-Cent Local Option Gas Tax Fund in account: 350.79.7910.541.63.01, Project: 9197902-FY19-2 - Bike/Pedestrian Projects, Fiscal Year 2019, Kincaid Loop Trail with estimated total project budget of $3,078,551. With approval of budget amendment, there should be funds for this contract.
