Discussion
1. The EAC would like to review demographic information from EO and all other divisions about staff and internal workforce. They would like to get a new copy of the organizational chart and get organizational charts of all departments.
2. The EAC would like to understand what are the responsibilities of the County, and get an overview of the outcomes in every area to understand the existing disparities and how outcomes relate to these disparities.
3. The EAC would like to hear from the 9 greater municipal areas to understand the state of their community and their concerns related to equity and bias. These would be listening sessions.
4. The EAC would like to have some level of introduction from each department in the form of a point person, likely a middle manager who presents to the EAC briefly. A few departments were named specifically: Fire and Rescue, EMS, and EPD.
5. The EAC would like to understand from the Commission if there are any policies, programs and services that they would like the Council to begin with in their review?
6. How does the Commission intend to incorporate the information provided by the EAC into it’s decision-making?
