Call to Order

 

The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM.

Approval of the Agenda

 

Alena Lawson Bennett motioned to approve the agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Yvette Carter with unanimous approval; motion carried.

Gerie Crawford motioned to approve the minutes from the July 18,2024 minutes. Alena Lawson-Bennett seconded, motion carried.

Equity Audit Tool Discussion

 

Ben Chumley reviewed the Housing element of Alachua County comprehensive plan.

Departmental Orientation

 

 

 Harold Theus, Alachua County Fire Rescue Chief, provided an orientation of the Fire Rescue services and department structure.  The board asked to have Stephen Hoffstetter from Environmental Protection present at a later date.

Members would like to take a holiday break for the month of December.
